Protest AIPAC in Oakland

We said No to AIPAC.

Over 70 people turned out on a cold, winter night at the height of the holiday season to say no to war and the agenda of militarism.  We had limited media coverage in local public supported radio station KPFA. 

We were encouraged by the diversity of our coalition, as suggested above. More people are taking seriously our duty to stand up to those who would support war and occupation.

For the AIPAC dinner attendees themselves, it seems that the main theme of the evening was to talk of the so-called threat from Iran, despite the reality suggested otherwise by the National Intelligence Estimate.  (See story here from J weekly)
